We had a wonderful stay at this renovated two bedroom unit. The older character combined with modern amenities made it spacious and comfortable. The three bathrooms were excellent. The location was great with a supermarket just 2 minutes away. M. Rodrigues was a fantastic host, making us feel at home and even offering to buy us food on a holiday. The self check-in process was smooth and the pool and barbecue area were shared. Bonus: two adorable cats!

Quinta Das Giestas exceeded our expectations. The spacious one-bedroom apartment had a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, and a huge bathroom. The semi-private patio with pool access and ocean views was a bonus. The location, next to a farm and close to Ribeira Grande, was beautiful. Manuel, the host, was welcoming and made us feel at home. Highly recommend!

Our Christmas stay at this hotel was amazing. The brand new rooms were spacious and clean, with well-equipped kitchens that made cooking a breeze. The location was perfect for us, as it was close to the main road, allowing us to easily explore every corner of the island. Plus, there was a large supermarket just a short drive away, which was incredibly convenient.

While there were many positive aspects to our stay, there were a few minor downsides. the location was a bit out of the way, so it took some time to reach supermarkets, restaurants, and beaches.

This accommodation is located in a convenient spot, close enough to explore the whole island and go out for dinner. the rooms are spacious and well-equipped apartments, perfect for families. the kitchen is amazing and the view of the pool is great for relaxation.

The television reception was poor.

We got great value for our money - the room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the whole island, with easy access to all the attractions within a 40-minute car ride. The staff, especially Manuel, was friendly and helpful, giving us great restaurant recommendations and making us feel at home.

Breakfast selection could be improved with more variety.

We stayed at Quinta Das Giestas for a week-long family vacation. Manuel, our host, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He even bought us food when we arrived on a holiday and everything was closed! The vacation home rental was perfect for our family, with a pool right outside our apartment. The location was ideal for exploring the island, and Ribeira Grande had everything we needed. The property is visually appealing, and our kids loved being next to a working cow farm. The full kitchen and clothes washer were a bonus, and the overall atmosphere was very relaxed. We would definitely stay here again.
